ADOPT A COUNTY ROAD PROGRAM

On February 6, 1997, the Adopt a County Road Program was introduced to Manistee County by the Board of County Road Commissioners.  Currently 91 groups are participating, covering 170 miles of county road!  A group adopting a portion of a county road may purchase Adopt a County Road signs with their name on them.  The Road Commission would then install these signs.  The cost for two signs, one at each end of the segment of road, is $50.  The Road Commission requests the segment be a minimum one-mile in length.  An application form needs to be completed for the portion of road you are interested in adopting.  Click below to view and download AAR information.

Due to COVID-19 the Adopt A Road pick-up schedule for April has been cancelled.

Please look for the AAR Newsletter in the  Summer for more information.
