Mr. Eckhardt was appointed to the Road Commission Board beginning January 2008. Bill completed the term Board member Sylvester C. "Buck" Flarity. He was re-appointed to a six year term beginning 1-1-2009. Bill is retired from the Michigan Department of Transportation.
VICE CHAIR - Annie Hooghart
We welcome Mrs. Hooghart as the newest appointed member of the Road Commission Board. Annie also serves on the Manistee-Benzie Community Mental Health Board. Her term runs through December 2016.
MEMBER -Sally Reckow
Ms. Reckow was appointed to a six year term on the Road Commission Board beginning January 2008. Her position came about as the Manistee County Board took action to expand the Road Commission Board from three members to five members. Sally served as Vice-Chairman in 2009.
MEMBER - James J. Russell
Mr. Russell was appointed to the Board to begin his term in September 2007. Jim came to the Board when the County Commission expanded the Road Commission Board from three members to five members. Jim is no stranger to the Board as he previously served as a member from June 1995 through December 2001. He is employed in the timber industry.
MEMBER - John Miller, Jr.
Mr. Miller was appointed to the Board to serve a six year term beginning January 2009. John has spent most of his life farming. He is a past member of the Arcadia Township Board, serving as trustee.
